Step 1: Make the dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, cornmeal, and yeast. Mix well. Add the olive oil and warm water, and mix until the dough forms a ball. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the filling
